Hello, Friends and Trolls!

We are diligently crafting more podcast goodness for you, including the welcome addition of two sparkling interns, Madison and Christopher.  Besides the sheer delight of being “my interns,” my interns are helping curate the musical portion of the broadcast.  I know many of you out there are musicians, and we want to hear what you got!  I’ve rigged up this here Soundcloud Dropbox for your convenience — if you have a track you’d like considered for the podcast, send it on over.  We’ll have a listen and contact you if it fits into the program.

In the meantime, I’ll be standing up (and hosting) the first Comedy Soundcheck in Denton on Monday, October 3rd at J+J’s Pizza on the Square.  Meet us down in the basement before the Boxcar Bandits | Snarky Puppy show at Hailey’s.  ‘Twill be a grand Homecoming and a top reason to party down on a school night.

As you can see by the shape of my head, there has been much a brewing here in Crisman land.  First, I realized I have owned SarahCrisman.com for years, so if you type said URL into your browser, you’ll find yourself right here!  Someday I’ll have Modern Whole build me an online wonderland.  Wordpress will do in the meantime.

Big ups to my personal hair guru, Mattie Michelle (at Michelle Patrick Salon, Dallas) for being a Finalist in the Davines Worldwide Hair Tour.  She and I will be appearing at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami next January.  My job is to sit still while Mattie does my hair; but if a microphone comes anywhere near my face — POW!  Right in the Kisser — I’m telling a joke.

Speaking of microphones near my face:  If you are in the Dallas area September 16, please help me welcome the Carolina Chocolate Drops to the Granada Theater.  You got a taste for something less fancy than folk music?  I’ll be telling jokes next to a parking meter in Deep Ellum at Noon (Stage Four) as part of PARK(ing) Day Dallas 2011.  Something entertaining is bound to happen.

While we get all our ducks in a row, please to enjoy the podcast manifestation of the Crisman Show.
